Terms of Service
Last updated: 15 May 2026
These terms govern your use of SwiftPages services. By engaging us to build, host, or maintain a website, you agree to the following.
1. Our service
SwiftPages designs, builds, and hosts websites for UK contractors and small businesses. The scope of each project is agreed in writing before any work begins.
2. Quotes and payment
- All quotes are fixed and valid for 30 days from the date issued.
- A 50% deposit is payable on acceptance of the quote.
- The balance is due before the site goes live.
- Monthly hosting and support fees are billed in advance.
- Late payments may incur statutory interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
3. Client responsibilities
You agree to provide, in a timely manner:
- Accurate business information, copy, and imagery
- Feedback on drafts within the agreed review window
- Confirmation that you own (or have permission to use) all content supplied
4. Revisions and changes
Each project includes a fixed number of revision rounds. Additional changes after sign-off may be quoted as separate work or covered by an ongoing support plan.
5. Hosting and uptime
We host on UK-based infrastructure with industry-standard reliability, but cannot guarantee 100% uptime. We are not liable for losses caused by downtime, third-party outages, or events outside our control.
6. Ownership and licence
Once final payment is received, you own the content and design of your site. Any third-party code, fonts, or images remain under their original licences.
7. Cancellation
You may cancel an ongoing hosting or support plan with 30 days' notice. Deposits paid on a build are non-refundable once design work has begun.
8. Liability
Our total liability under any agreement is limited to the fees paid by you in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
